This policy explains what personal data we collect through sweettouch.net, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

02

Automatically collected information

Our hosting and content delivery providers may log technical information such as IP address, browser type and access time for security, abuse prevention and content delivery.

We measure aggregate website traffic — page views, referring sites and country — using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not build a profile of you. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this site.

03

Why we use it

  • To count and analyze color preferences so we can decide production colors
  • To notify you when the product launches
  • To respond to enquiries you send us
  • To keep a record that you consented, as required by law
  • Where you have separately opted in — to send marketing communications (see section 04)

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

04

Marketing communications (optional)

Subscribing is optional. You can vote on colors without giving us an email address at all. If you do choose to subscribe, both consents are required — we treat launch announcements as promotional email, so we will not send you any marketing message without your marketing consent.

Scope of marketing consent. If you opt in, you agree to receive email from Sweet Touch about our business generally. This covers products and services that Sweet Touch develops, manufactures, sells or otherwise provides — including but not limited to golf training equipment, golf accessories, golf apparel, and related digital products such as mobile applications — and includes:

  • New product launches, pre-orders and early access
  • Promotions, discounts, sales and campaigns
  • Events, exhibitions and trade show participation
  • Company and brand news, including awards, certifications and partnerships
  • Customer surveys and product feedback requests

Marketing email is sent by Sweet Touch only. We do not sell, rent or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.

If a new processing or marketing purpose arises that is materially different from the purpose you consented to, we will assess whether separate consent is required before using your data for it. The addition of a new product within the scope above does not by itself require new consent.

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every marketing email, on our unsubscribe page, or by writing to info@sweettouch.net. Withdrawal takes effect promptly and does not affect the lawfulness of messages already sent.

05

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose you consented to requires it, and we destroy it without undue delay once that purpose is complete.

DataRetention period
Subscriber details (email, country)Until you withdraw consent, or until the purpose ends
Consent recordsRetained separately, to the minimum extent required by applicable law, as proof of lawful collection
Inactive subscribersReviewed internally three years after your last interaction
Color vote dataRetained as aggregate statistics once production colors are decided
Direct enquiry emailsUntil the enquiry is resolved and any follow-up period has passed

Electronic records are deleted so they cannot be recovered. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see section 08.

06

Who processes it

We do not provide your personal data to third parties for their own purposes. We do use service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions only.

ProviderPurposeLocation
Netlify, Inc.Website hosting and colour-vote form storageUnited States
Brevo (Sendinblue SAS)Email delivery and subscriber list managementFrance (European Union)
Cloudflare, Inc.Aggregate website traffic measurementUnited States

Because these providers operate outside the Republic of Korea, your data is transferred overseas for the purposes and retention periods described above. If we add a provider — for example an email delivery service — we will update this policy and give notice before the change takes effect.

07

Age, markets and periodic reconfirmation

Minimum age

Our email subscription service is offered to people aged 16 or older. This is a conservative operating standard we set ourselves; it is not a statement that a single age replaces the statutory consent age in any particular country. We do not accept subscriptions from anyone under 16 and we do not operate a parental-consent process. We do not collect dates of birth — you simply confirm your age when subscribing.

Markets we serve

Our primary markets are the Republic of Korea, the United States and Japan. We do not actively target the EU or EEA: we do not offer EU shipping, EU currency pricing or localised marketing for EU markets. If we begin offering goods or services to people in the EU or EEA, or begin marketing to them directly, we will review our obligations under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules — including whether an EU representative must be appointed — before doing so.

Periodic reconfirmation (Republic of Korea)

Where Korean law requires it, we contact subscribers in the Republic of Korea every two years from the date of consent to confirm whether they wish to continue receiving marketing email. This is a confirmation notice, not a re-registration — you do not need to sign up again.

08

Your rights

You may at any time ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy
  • Correct data that is inaccurate
  • Delete your data
  • Stop processing your data
  • Withdraw any consent you gave

Write to info@sweettouch.net. We respond without undue delay. We may ask you to confirm the request came from the email address on file.

09

How we protect it

  • Access to submitted data is limited to the representative
  • The site is served over HTTPS
  • Exported files containing personal data are stored in access-restricted locations
  • We collect the minimum data needed, and no sensitive categories
10

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date at least seven days before it takes effect. If the change materially affects your rights, we will give at least thirty days’ notice and, where required, ask for your consent again.
